MILO, Maine – A free Christmas Day roast pork dinner hosted by David and Terri Knowles and Walter and Nancy Cook will be served at noon Tuesday, Dec. 25, at the Milo Town Hall.
The tradition of the community Christmas dinner was established by Everett and Freda Cook to provide an opportunity for anyone to share the day with others.
Volunteers are needed to set up the dining room and to prepare vegetables 1-3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24. Help also is needed 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 25 to help serve the meal and clean up.
Donation of pies also are needed.
