Presented by Ira Mandel, MD, MPH, medical director, Pen Bay Healthcare Hospice and Palliative Care Program

Palliative medicine, the medical component of palliative care, focuses on improving quality of life for those with life-limiting conditions. Often confused with hospice care, it’s designed to work in tandem with a patient’s treatment plan. Learn more about this relative newcomer to the healthcare landscape—and how it may benefit you or someone you love.

Admission will be free; however, seating is limited, and registration is required. Call 207-230-6114 or email qhinfo@penbayhealthcare.org.

This event is part of Quarry Hill’s Adventures in Living Well programs and cosponsored by Camden Public Library. Learn more about upcoming programs in this series at http://www.quarryhill.org/news-and-events.
