PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – David Putnam, archaeologist and University of Maine Presque Isle lecturer of science, will discuss his participation in an international research expedition to Bhutan at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in the Campus Center.
Putnam participated in the trip with his son, Aaron Putnam, a glacial geologist and post-doctoral research associate at Columbia University Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. The expedition was organized by Columbia University to study climate change and the future of water resources in southern Asia. Putnam will discuss the research conducted and its future impact.
