THORNDIKE, Maine — In recognition of its first year of operation, the Thor-Nox Farms Agricultural Education Center will host a Community Meal and Harvest Celebration 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Mount View High School.  The meal, featuring locally grown and produced foods, will include produce from the Thor-Nox Farms garden as well as meat and other products from neighboring farms.

The public is invited to the celebration to learn more about the Thor-Nox Farms Agricultural Education Center. Door prizes will be awarded and there will be dancing.

Admission is by suggested donation of $5 to $10 per person. Octogenarians may attend at no cost.  For information about the celebration, call Ron Desrosiers at 207-568-3366.
