Insects in the order Odonata (damselflies and dragonflies) are a conspicuous and ecologically important component of Maine’s wildlife diversity. Come listen to an outdoor lecture on the basic biology of Maine’s own damsels and dragons and learn to catch and identify a few of the preserve’s late summer flying species with Dr. Phillip deMaynadier, a nongame specialist with MDIFW. $5 suggested donation.
