Take a Hike- Making Wilderness Exploration FAMILY Time

Friday – July 27th 3:00 – 6:00 pm & Saturday – July 28th 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

This class brings children and parents together to learn how to explore woods/wilderness together by planning ahead, knowing the environment, and starting small & thinking before you set out. Participants will learn buddy systems, trail marking identification, backpack essentials, proper gear/clothing/footwear, and making emergency kits. Friday’s session provides suggestions for packing Saturday’s lunch, etc. Instructor: Bobbi-Jo Bourdeau. Course fee: $30 – $90 per family. Materials fee (required): $5 per person.
