CAMDEN, Maine — Children and Infants are at high risk of cholera in Haiti where Hurricane Sandy dumped 20 inches of rain. Partners In Health, a global organization working for the poor, began its work in Haiti 25 years ago and is hard at work in the fight to control the spread of cholera in Haiti where many roads, water systems, crops and homes have been destroyed.
Supporters of Partners In Health will host its ninth annual Tag Sale this 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov.17, at the Congregational Church in Camden. Donations to the sale can be delivered to the church 9 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 16. Funds from this event and the ongoing sale of Noteworthy Cards at Zoot Coffee help support the newly opened Mirebalais Teaching Hospital in the central plateau of Haiti.
