King Arthur meets Monty Python and the result is musical mayhem in “Spamalot,” onstage at Orono High School Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, November 15-17, at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for students and seniors, and $7 for all others.

The Tony Award-winning musical, described by its creators as “lovingly ripped off from the motion picture, ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’” features the British comedy troupe’s standard brand of slapstick, silliness, and bawdy humor, interspersed with fish-schlapping, medieval chant, show girls and swashbuckling knights. After the rollicking OHS performance, audience members will, no doubt, “always look on the bright side of life!”
