Soup kitchen offers free Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 20

BANGOR Maine — A traditional turkey dinner will be serves at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at The Salvation Army Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen, 65 South Park St.

The meal will be prepared by volunteers from more than 15 groups, including church, civic and community organizations.

The dinner is open to all.

The Salvation Army’s Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen serves lunch Monday through Friday, and breakfast on Sunday year round.
