The Jesup Memorial Library and the Harborside Shakespeare Company are co-hosting a Shakespeare Open Mic Night at the Jesup on Saturday, March 16 from 7 to 8 p.m.

It’s an opportunity for everyone, young and old, to step up to the microphone and share some of their favorite scenes, soliloquies and sonnets from the works of William Shakespeare – or even their own takes on the works of The Bard.

No experience necessary-come to read, watch or perform. Participants can sign up at the door. A selection of Shakespearean texts will be provided as well as refreshments.
