BAR HARBOR, Maine — The Maine Sea Coast Mission will debut its first ever comemorative Christmas tree ornament during its annual Holiday Open House 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at the Colket Center in Bar Harbor, 127 West St.

The ornaments, which depict the Sea Coast Mission’s boat Sunbeam, will be sold for $15 each to help raise funds for the non-profit organization’s Christmas Program, which provides approximately 16,000 gifts to individuals and families in Downeast Maine and on coastal islands. Only 300 of the ornaments were made.

The event will offer  music, food and drink, and tours of the festively decorated Colket Center. A donation to the Christmas Program is encouraged in lieu of an admission fee.
