Rockland synagogue Chanukah Party to be held in Thomaston

THOMASTON, Maine — Adas Yoshuron Synagogue of Rockland will host its annual Community Chanukah Party on first night of Chanukah 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Watts Hall in Thomaston.
The band Cinder Conk and fiddler Shana Hanson will play Balkan and Klezmer music, and Israeli dancing will be taught by Chris Marshall and Susan Wind. There will be a menorah lighting with
Rabbi Margalit light the menorah; bring your own if you have one.
New this year are activities for children. Families are encouraged to attend.
A hot supper will be served. Contributions of latkes, traditional potato pancakes, will be accepted.
