RENT to open Aug. 16 at Waldo Theatre

WALDOBORO, Maine – RENT, written by Jonathan Larson, music direction by Sean Fleming and stage direction by Melissa Hearth, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and 17 and Sept. 13, 14, 20 and 21, at The Waldo Theatre.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors (all kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult due to sexual content, adult themes, and language), and $15 for adults. Tickets are $13 for adults/$8 for students when blocks of 10 or more are purchased.  This can be arranged by contacting us via email atmelissa@thewaldo.org.  Tickets are available at the Community Pharmacy in Waldoboro and at Maine Coast Books.

In keeping with the true meaning of RENT, money will be collected for the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Newcastle and the Hospitality House in Rockland which is in the process of re-opening as a shelter for the homeless. Red ribbons will be sold to raise money for Equity Fights Aids.
