An evening lantern lit tour will explore Camden discovering ghosts & history, spirits & mystery. Buildings that once seemed ordinary will take on eerie new dimensions as The Lady in the Red Cloak relives their history & that of the ghostly entities that are said to reside there. Appropriate for all ages. $12 for adults, $7 children under 12, free under 5. Other towns/dates are also available. By reservation only.
An hour tour of Mt. View Cemetery is available before the walking tour, & will focus on stories of early local inhabitants interred there & the symbolism of their tombstones. The Lady in the Red Cloak will personalize the local history with stories of people who played a role in making that history. During the walk, a general overview of cemeteries, graveyards, & funereal practices will be discussed, as well as the telling of a local ghost story! By reservation only – same prices as above walk, tours may be combined. A portion of the ticket price will benefit the Cemetery Assn.
