The fabulous Primrose Puppets will perform “Mashenka and the Bear” at Gibbs Library on Saturday February 2.

Joan Dean of Washington creates all the puppets and scenery.

The free shows will be offered at 10 and 10:45 a.m.

The story is about a young girl who wanders away while picking mushrooms and berries and meets someone very interesting in the forest.

In the happy ending, Mashenka finds her way safely home again.

The program is not scary and is appropriate for any age, even the youngest child.
