AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine Right to Life will host its annual Hands Around the Capitol Memorial on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Capitol in Augusta to  recognize the 40 years since the enactment of Roe v. Wade that legalized abortion throughout the United States.

The schedule is:

* 10 a.m., Mass celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 41 Western Ave., Augusta, or 10 a.m. prayer service at RiverRock Christian Fellowship, 65 River Road, Chelsea.

* 11 a.m.,  Gather in St. Michaels Parish Gymnasium, 56 Sewall St., Augusta.

* 11:15, Rally at St. Michael’s Parish Gymnasium with pro-life leaders and legislators. Refreshments and pro-life exhibits.

* 12:15 p.m., March begins. Leave for the Capitol.

* 12:30 p.m., Assemble around the Capitol hand-to-hand.
