Fisheries Biologist David Halliwell of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection will discuss his work studying the native, indigenous, freshwater fish species that were present in Maine and New England prior to the arrival of European settlers, as well as the importance of those species to the pre-Columbian population of the region.
