ORONO, Maine — Take a futuristic journey into the past and see ways that Earth has changed to become the world we know today from 2 to 3 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 17 and 24, at the University of Maine Maynard F. Jordan Planetarium.
Jump to the future when humans have colonized the moon. Looking down at Earth during a solar eclipse, a grandfather tells his grandchildren, born on the Moon, about Earth. Transported by immersive cg animation, visitors experience dizzying tales of a canyon river ride, an ice age blizzard with a woolly mammoth, and a cosmic disaster in a time when dinosaurs lived.
