University of Maine Museum of Art announces a community exhibit of pets: PETSNAPS

In conjunction with the Michael Crouser: Dog Run exhibition UMMA is accepting photographs of pets for PETSNAPS. UMMA will accept photos until March 4, 2013 for this fun, community exhibit. PETSNAPS will run from February 25 – March 16, 2013 and be on display at the Museum for the Downtown Bangor Art Walk on March 15, 2013.

Please send a copy of up to four original photographs with contact information clearly printed on the back to the University of Maine Museum of Art, 40 Harlow St. Bangor, ME 04401. Please do not send a self-addressed, stamped envelope as UMMA will not return photos, submissions will be available for pick up March 18 through 30, 2013. Lenders works may be mailed or hand delivered no larger than 5 x 7 inches. Black and white or color accepted.

Submission to the PETSNAPS exhibit constitutes an agreement with the terms herein. While the University of Maine will exercise great care, we will not accept liability for lost or damaged photographs entered into the PETSNAPS exhibition. Submission of photographs to UMMA does not guarantee that photographs will be displayed. Due to the volume of photographs submitted this exhibit will rotate in order to best accommodate all submissions. We will not guarantee the time at which the photograph will be displayed. Lender assumes all responsibility. UMMA provides no insurance while photographs are on display.
