BREWER, Maine — The next monthly meeting for the Penobscot Fly Fishers will be held  in conjunction with a family-style dinner beginning with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Penobscot County Conservation Association club house at 570 North Main St. in Brewer. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and will feature turkey with all the fixin’s, and will be available for $11. Guests are invited to attend.

After a short meeting, the evening’s program will begin.

The speaker at February’s meeting will be noted author Randy Spencer. “Randy Spencer is a working Master Maine Guide, a singer/songwriter, and an author. He was named one of the “Ten Most Intriguing People in Maine” by Portland Magazine, while Yankee Magazine included Randy as one of the “25 people you need to meet most.” The title of the talk will be, “The Guiding Life: Living the Dream”
