Library to host FAME and College Goal Maine

BATH, Maine — Patten Free Library to host FAME and College Goal Maine at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the library. The event will take place in cooperation with the Finance Authority of Maine and the Morse High School Guidance Department.

The event is designed to provide college bound seniors and their families with free assistance in completing and filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The library will be open for workshop registrants only.

Jessica Whittier, a college access counselor with the Finance Authority, will share her expertise with those who attend the workshop

Because the FAFSA forms are filed online, participants must bring a laptops with Wi-Fi capability or reserve one of the library’s desktops or laptops. These will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis by calling or emailing a request to Roberta Jordan at 207-443-5141, ext. 25, or rjordan@patten.lib.me.us.
