Patten Free Library continues its winter film series “Tell It to the Judge” on February 19 with a screening of “And Justice for All.” Show time is 6:30pm in the library’s community room. Refreshments are provided. All films are free and open to the public.
Al Pacino stars as an ethical young defense lawyer (Arthur Kirkland) disgusted with rampant legal corruption who is asked to defend a despised judge in a rape trial. If he refuses to take the case, the judge will have him disbarred. As the trial proceeds, Kirkland ends up battling not only one-on-one injustice, but the whole justice system itself. Pacino was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award®. John Forsythe and Jack Warden co-star.
“Tell It to the Judge” features some of the best courtroom dramas and greatest performances of all time. For a complete title list, visit www.patten.lib.me.us or stop by the library.
