CELEBRATE THE HARVEST! at the 2nd Annual Parkman Days Celebration, September 22, 2012. Festivities begin at 11 with a parade down Highway 150 featuring harvest/scarecrow-themed floats. The Parkman Grange will serve a BBQ pork dinner from 12 – 2. Hamburgers, hot dogs, cotton candy, and popcorn will be available all afternoon. There will be activities for one and all, including live music, crafts, and lots of games and activities for the kids. Make your own scarecrow. Fill a dessert plate at the homemade dessert table. Events, starting at 12:30, include hammer throw, skillet throw, rubber chicken toss, and a homemade pie auction. The horseshoe tournament begins at 1 and softball begins around 2:30. All activities will take place at the Parkman Town Office/Ballfield on Highway 150.
