The Stillwater Montessori School in Old Town along with families and Maine Project Learning Tree invite you to join us on Saturday, 9/29 from 1 to 4, at the Hirundo Wildlife Refuge, Gate 1.

This family event offers time to explore the great outdoors with guided nature walks, games and discovery activities Search and discover wildlife in the pond, in the woods, and the fields and in the air as a nature detective with assistance from local naturalists. Snacks provided.

Thanks to Hirundo Wildlife Refuge, Stillwater Montessori School and Maine PLT for presenting this great outdoor event.

Hirundo Wildlife Refuge is located on Hudson Rd (Rte. 43) Alton/Old Town.

Directions from the South: Take the I-95 N and then the ME-43 exit 197 to Old Town/Hudson. Turn left onto Rt. 43 (Hudson Rd). Go west 5.2 miles. Gate 1, large red sign will be on your right (north side of Rt. 43). Turn off Rt. 43 and follow the dirt road for ~1/2 mile to the Pine Tree parking lot. Meet at the Parker Reed shelter, which is further on the left.
