On Columbus Day Weekend, October 12 & 13, from 10-4pm, Cultivate: Belfast Area Farm and Arts Studio Tour will have a free, open studio and farm tour with special workshops and demonstrations. Visit farms, artists’ working in their studios, see a forging demonstration, or learn how they make yarn, soap or cheese.

Great family fun. But art lovers will get the opportunity to visit some of the area’s best artists and artisans and watch how they work. The tour is also active and includes extensive hiking and bike trail system that runs throughout the Belfast area and throughout Waldo County, winding and connecting.
