The Merrymeeting Conservation and Education Alliance (MCEA), a partnership between the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust, the Cathance River Education Alliance, and the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, will hold its first annual Online Auction starting at 9:00 am October 24 through November 14 at www.biddingforgood.com/mcea. Sneak a peek at auction items beginning on October 14.

It is not too late to donate items either. For more information on donations or the auction, please contact Ruth Indrick at rindrick@kennebecestuary.org or 442-8400.

Be ahead of the crowd and complete the quick and easy registration now at www.biddingforgood.com/mcea. Once the Online Auction opens, bidding on items can begin immediately!

The Online Auction will showcase over 125 items including travel and adventure packages, restaurant certificates and experiences, sports, music, and theater tickets, and much more. There are opportunities to travel on a safari to Africa, attend a private brunch catered by local Chef Aaron Park of the Brunswick eatery Henry and Marty, stay warm in a Patagonia men’s Nano Puff jacket, read and relish a personalized signed hardcover novel by Maine author Paul Doiron, or enjoy a Patriots football game to root on Tom Brady and the rest of the Pats!

All Online Auction proceeds will directly benefit the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust, Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, and Cathance River Education Alliance. The three executive directors meet regularly and state, “This collaboration is key to continuing the wide variety of conservation and nature-based education programs that the three organizations provide for communities in the Merrymeeting Bay region.”

The MCEA Online Auction is generously sponsored by The Merrymeeting Bay Trust, F.L. Putnam, and Highland Green.
