Join us for the 16th Annual Ocean Park 5K Race sponsored by the Saco and Biddeford Savings Institution. This is one of the few evening races in the entire state, always attracting top runners as they prepare for the Beach2Beacon on the following weekend. The Ocean Park 5K winds through towering pines and along the beach before finishing in the town square in front of hundreds of enthusiastic supporters. There will be cash prizes for breaking the course records for men and for women. Map of race course available here.

The first 250 runners receive 2012 OP 5K t-shirt. Pre-registration fee of $20, in person at the OPA Office, via mail, or online at www.runreg.com or click here for downloadable registration form. Day of race walk-in registration is $25. 1K Fun Run registration: $3 without t-shirt or $10 with t-shirt. Pre-registered check in begins on Thursday, July 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Rec. Hall, or on the day of 4 p.m. in the Rec. Hall. Checks must be payable to the “Ocean Park Association”.

Directions: Take Exit 36 (Saco -OOB exit) off turnpike. Continue on spur keep to right at 7-11 convenience store. You are now on Temple AVE. Continue straight over railroad tracks till you come to 4-way stop light at Temple AVE and Route 9. Registration one block to your left.

5K start time: 7 p.m. on Temple Avenue above Free Street

Kids 1K Fun Run start time: 6 p.m. in front of the Rec Hall
