Do you find you never have the field guide you need when you are out in the forest? Are there places and times that you would like to capture and pass on? Would you like to develop your abilities as an observer, sketcher and journaler? Would you like another way to explore nature, or an excuse to slow down and look more deeply into the small stuff? The Downeast Lakes Land Trust’s long-time journal writer and Education Manager, Tanya Rucosky will help you expand on the skills everyone has, and create your own nature journal.

Bring a bound unlined sketchbook, pens and pencils. Colored pencils and/or a child’s set of water colors are not required but will add to your experience.
