The Low XII Riders is pleased to announce the Inaugural Marvin Tarbox Memorial Ride on Sunday, May 20, 2012. Registration starts at 11:00am at the Anah Shrine Temple on Main Street, Bangor. The ride is open to both motorcycles and vehicles and will be held rain or shine. Following the ride a barbeque will be held at Anah Temple. The cost of the ride and barbeque is $20.00 for the rider/driver and $10.00 for additional passengers. For those wishing to come to the barbeque only, the cost is $10.00.

This ride is to fund the Marvin Tarbox Scholarship at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor. The scholarship will be available to those pursuing and education in the electrical field.

Marvin Tarbox was a Freemason and Shriner who was killed in a tragic parade accident last summer. Marvin lost his life while doing something he loved, raising money to assist children with medical issues.

Marvin was a member of Lygonia Lodge in Ellsworth and Anah Temple in Bangor.

The Low XII Riders is the Central/Northern Maine Chapter of the Widow’s Sons Masonic Riders Association. The Widow’s Sons is an international association of Freemasons who ride motorcycles. There are currently three chapters in Maine.
