New Sweden, Stockholm, Perham and Woodland are comprised of beautiful, fertile rolling terrain that is rich in agricultural history. This area, known as the Swedish colony was settled early by settlers relocating from Scandinavia, and many of these ancestors still call this area home. Travel with us as we explore such areas as Lars Noak Blacksmith Shop, The Larrson/Ostlund two story block house, the New Sweden Historical Museum, and the Stockholm Historical Museum. At 12:00pm we break for a sit down lunch, included with fee. Trip will depart from the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center at 9:00am and return by 4:00pm. Minimum of six people required to pre-register with a committed fee of $25.00 by 4:00pm October 5, 2012. Trip is reserved for individuals over the age of 55.
