Running from 2:00-4:00 pm, the performance will feature Maine’s first family of “Old Timey Downeast Music”, the Gawler Family.

The Gawler Family is made up of John and Ellen Gawler and their three daughters, Molly, Edith, and Elsie. Based out of Belgrade, Maine, they are a fun-loving, folk singing group known for mixing harmonies with fiddles, banjos, cellos, guitars, ukuleles and the piano.

Guests will have the option of purchasing only a concert ticket for $30, or a concert ticket including dinner, overnight lodging at the Stratton Brook Hut and breakfast for $110. Tickets must be purchased in advance and space is limited. The Stratton Brook Hut is only accessible via a 3-mile hike or bike-ride in and out.

The goal of the Crossroads International Celtic Festival is to present a unique celebration of music and culture throughout Maine. For five days starting September 11th, small towns and villages of western Maine will welcome artists from all over the world, featuring dozens of concerts and community events.
