The Maine Forest and Logging Museum at Leonard’s Mills in Bradley is hosting a Volunteer Open House, Saturday, June 16 with lunch served. The museum would like interested adults of all ages to come out and try their hand at a variety of activities that are done at our events. Current volunteers are encouraged to come try something new. The saw mill, pit saw, river driver’s bateau, reflector oven, beehive oven, and many other ‘stations’ will be available to learn about and try your hand at operating. The day is focused on training adults to volunteer at the living history events. Children are welcome to volunteer at actual events under adult supervision. Contact Sherry Davis at 974-6278.
