BATH, Maine — An Introduction to Self-Employment workshop will be held 9 -11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Bath-Brunswick Center for Women, Work and Community, 9 Park St.
The introductory workshop will help participants decide if self-employment is the right choice for them. The class covers the pros and cons of owning your own business, the steps needed to get started, the major elements of a business plan and the resources available to help you succeed.
Advance registration is required. The workshop is free.
