Sagadahoc Preservation’s Dreamland Theater will screen Moonrise Kingdom on January 17th at 7pm at the Winter Street Center, in Bath. Peter O’Toole and Omar Sharif star in this multi-Oscar winning production based on the exploits of legendary British soldier T.E. Lawrence. Lawrence helps unite rival Arab tribes and then organizes them into a rebellion against the Turks during World War One. Definitely one of the greatest epic movies of all time. Alec Guiness, Jack Hawkins, Anthony Quinn, Jose Ferrer and Claude Rains also costar. This week’s movie is sponsored by Brick Store Antiques in Bath.
Movies are shown every Thursday at 7pm at the Dreamland Theater at the Winter Street Center in Bath. The suggested donation is $5. The 2012-2013 season is underwritten by Jorgensen Landscaping.
