PROSPECT, Maine — Last Stop Horse Rescue will still be at Fort Knox from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, May 25 even with the rain to help raise awareness of Last Stop Horse Rescue, and the 20 horses that reside at the rescue. The Waldo County Rangers are setting up a tarp for us, and we hope to see visitors at the Fort today! All Championship events are still on for today at Fort Knox even with the intermittent rain. Lots of places to go inside the fort on a rainy day, and hope to see you there. Last Stop Horse Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located on a 20-acre property in Prentiss. Please visit our website to learn more about our organization. On Saturday May 25th from 10:00-4:00 the miniature horse ambassadors will be at Fort Knox for the Waldo County Ranger’s “Cowboy Fast Draw Association Maine State Championship”. T-shirts and hats with Last Stop Horse Rescue Lucky logos will be on sale for $15.00 each while supplies last to help raise funds for the horses. Also on sale will be LSHR wristbands for $3.50, which will purchase a bale of hay. Donations are tax deductible and very much appreciated.
