The miniature horse ambassadors from Last Stop Horse Rescue in Prentiss, Maine, will be at Tractor Supply in Bangor from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 (weather permitting) to help spread holiday cheer, and raise awareness of their ongoing rescue efforts. Santa may even make an appearance if he has time in his busy schedule. Items will be on sale to help raise funds for hay and grain for the rescued horses, including T-shirts, wristbands and toy ponies. Donations are greatly appreciated, will go directly to the care of the horses at the rescue, and are tax deductible. Last Stop Horse Rescue is licensed with Maine Animal Welfare to take in horses in need, operates on volunteer basis, and currently has 15 horses at the rescue. Please join us for some holiday cheer!
