UNITY, Maine — The Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance is reaching out to residents in its service area of Freedom, Liberty, Montville and Palermo. Area residents are invited to meet with alliance staff and volunteers 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the home of Nancy Zane, 491 Stevens Road, Unity, to discuss how the alliance can best protect the lands for recreation and natural resources.
The Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance is a nonprofit land trust working to conserve land and water ecosystems in the upper Sheepscot River watershed.
