Acadia National Park and SERC Institute staff and volunteers invite you to a fun afternoon of nature activities designed for families on the SERC campus, Saturday, April 27, from 1 – 4 pm. Learn about the environment of the Schoodic Peninsula and about the animals and plants that live there. Become a salamander sleuth, work on nature arts, play games, be an NPS firefighter, and explore the SERC campus. Get outside, get moving, and discover the nature of Schoodic.
Participants register on the SERC campus of the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park, near Schoodic Point. Families with children 12 and under are invited to attend; all children must be accompanied by a parent or other adult care giver. Junior Ranger Day is free and open to the public.
