Join the thousands of people across the country who participate in the largest and longest-running citizen science project, counting birds for the Audubon Christmas Bird Count. As part of the national effort that has taken place for over 100 years, SERC Institute will assist in the Schoodic Bird Count, held this year on New Year’s Day. The Schoodic Christmas Bird Count will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Count compiler Bill Townsend and Schoodic Bird Ecology Lab Director Seth Benz invite you to get in on the action. They’ll host a brief count strategy session on Tuesday, January 1, at 8 am at Moore Auditorium on the SERC campus.
