Maine mycologist and author Greg Marley will explain how our eastern forests and fields are a treasure trove of mushrooms that are beautiful, unexpected, mysterious and, following periods of heavy rain, abundant. Some are edible, fewer are toxic and most are non-edible but nontoxic. Greg will talk about wild mushrooms and the challenges and opportunities involved in foraging for mushrooms safely.
