Participants will go outdoors to locate, identify, harvest, and prepare numerous native plants –roses, seaweeds, sarsaparilla, usnea, violets, horsetail, wild cherry, and others. For ages 16 and up, 12 – 15 with adult. Instructors: Beth Powerand Jenna Rozelle. Participants please bring: Sunscreen, hat, bug stuff, lunch and/or snacks, drinking water, bottles/jars for products, camera, notebook & writing implements, gathering basket/bag(s), clippers, gardening gloves.
