Penobscot Fly Fishers will be offering 4 intermediate fly tying sessions beginning Monday March 4th. The classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm at the Penobscot County Conservation Association club house. It will be in an ala carte format where you do not have to sign up for all four sessions, but choose which ones you want to attend. The sessions will include an evening of dry flies (Adams & Parachute Adams) on March 4th; deer hair (Muddler Minnow and a variant) on March 11th; streamers (feather wing and bucktail) on March 18th; and nymphs (Flashback Pheasant Tail and Teeny Nymph) on March 25th. The classes are free to PFF club members and there will be a $10 fee per class for non-members. All materials and hooks will be provided. Students should plan to bring basic tools and thread.
