Just because old man winter is knocking on our door does not mean that we have to pack up our flower pots and planters for the winter. That’s right, join hosts from the University of Maine’s Cooperative Extensive Master Gardener program and learn what fruit and vegetable plants do well in indoor container gardens as well as the positive mental effects a container garden provides. Plan to get your hands dirty as all participants will be planting a small planter that contains your favorite summer time veggies to take home. Lunch will be provided; presentation will be from 11:30am – 1:30pm. Minimum of twelve people required to pre-register with a committed fee of $25.00 by 4:00pm October 12, 2012.
