Husson University’s Robert E. White Gallery will present an exhibit featuring Maine artist Stefano Tijerina through April 18, 2013. The artist’s reception is March 4, 5-7 pm.

Tijerina’s training in art began in Bogota, Columbia, through Houston, Texas on his way to Maine, where he became submerged in the rich panoramas available at every turn. His work has transitioned from figurative to more abstract and expressionistic approaches to landscape painting with changes in media from oils, acrylics, pastels. He is currently experimenting with multimedia and collages.

The White Gallery is located in the Student Center; first floor of Peabody Hall, and is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Monday through Friday.
