Not only is agriculture a huge part of Aroostook County, it is equally important to neighboring New Brunswick, so much so, that a museum has been dedicated to preserving the agricultural heritage of our area. Our first stop of the day will be at the Potato World Museum, which will include lunch, following lunch we will travel to Hunter Brothers Farm Market in Florencville, New Brunswick. To complete the day we will travel to tour the Covered Bridge Potato Chip Company. Trip will depart from the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center at 9am and return by 5pm. Minimum of six people required to pre-register with a committed fee of $30.00 by 4:00pm September 7, 2012. Trip is reserved for individuals over the age of 55. Rain date September 26, 2012.
