Holistic physician Daniel Einstein, MD will give a talk on holistic therapies for common childhood illnesses, including colds, sleep disturbances, stomach troubles, allergies and ADHD.
Dr. Einstein will also give a brief overview of Rudolf Steiner’s approach to medical care– known as anthroposophic medicine– especially as it applies to children. A form of complementary medicine developed by Rudolf Steiner– the founder of Waldorf education– anthroposophic medicine is applied by conventionally trained medical doctors through a combination of European homeopathics, plant medicines, natural remedies, and elements of allopathic principles.
There will be a question and answer session following the presentation.
A family physician and herbalist, Dr. Einstein is also an anthroposophic physician in training. He has a medical practice at Avena Botanicals Healing Center where he treats both children and adults through a combination of herbs, lifestyle counseling, anthroposophic remedies, and pharmaceuticals.
