Holiday House Tour and Festival of Trees to benefit Rockland library

ROCKLAND, Maine — The Historic Inns of Rockland and Friends of Rockland Public Library will host the annual Holiday House Tour as part of Rockland’s Festival of Lights celebration 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.

Participate in the tour and view historic inns and homes decked in all their holiday finery, while supporting Rockland’s Public Library.

New this year, the Friends will hold a Holiday Book 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in the community room of the library. The sale will feature gently used and new books.

Members of the Friends will be admitted at 9 a.m.

A festival of trees will follow the Holiday House Tour, with tabletop trees decorated by area

businesses up for auction 4-4:30 p.m. at the library.

Tickets to the Holiday House Tour are $10, free to children under 12. Tickets may be purchased at the Rockland Public Library in advance or at any of the participating inns, and the library the day of the event. Proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Rockland Public Library. For information, call the library at 207-594-0310.
