Historical society to hold hymn sing to benefit upkeep of historic church

Location: First Baptist Church of Sedgwick, High Street, Sedgwick, Maine

SEDGWICK, Maine — A hymn sing will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at the First Baptist Church of Sedgwick on High Street. The event, co-sponsored by the North Sedgwick Baptist Church and the East Association of the American Baptist Churches of Maine, is part of the Sedgwick-Brooklin Historical Society’s annual Touring Through Time weekend.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the upkeep of the church, constructed in 1835 and one home to the largest Protestant congregation in Maine.
