Program Objectives:
• Provide overview of issues relating to siting, building, and
maintaining recreational and multi-use trails
• Focus on Best Management Practices and Principles to
protect Water Quality
• Learn from examples in the field
• Learn from each other
This program will have both inside and outside components
where real-world, on the ground issues and solutions will be observed and discussed.
Knowledgeable and experienced trail-builders from area land
trusts and the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and
Forestry will lead the discussion. Cost is $15, including lunch.
