Pen Bay Healthcare’s Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice is pleased to join Spectrum Generations in offering a new monthly series of community talks: Health Matters With Kno-Wal-Lin. Join staff from Kno-Wal-Lin as they discuss how home and community health services can help you on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 1 p.m. at Spectrum Generations’ Knox Community Center.

In honor of American Heart Month, the first program of the series kicks off with “Managing Heart Disease with Telehealth Monitoring” on Thursday, February 14. Telehealth technology allows a nurse to monitor your health daily without requiring an in-person visit. Patients who use these units can learn to manage their health at home and catch changes early to avoid going to the hospital.

Spectrum Generations is located at 61 Park Street in Rockland.

For more information about Health Matters With Kno-Wal-Lin community talks or events, contact Suzanne Miller at 390-4524.
